Here are the rules that you are required to follow, for you to be able to play in this league
1.Stay active! Too do this you must communicate with other lg members. This league wants members who like to participate in the forums and polls. Tells us what you want!. This is everyones league. So voice your opinion ! We are on a mission to build the strongest Madden Lg on the net.
2.Do not ever drop or quit a game.This will result in you being banned for life from our leagues!
4th Downs (1st, 2nd or 3rd quarter)
- If it is 1st, 2nd, or 3rd Quarter regardless of Score you will be required to punt or kick a FG. Only exception will be if you are past the 35 yd line into your opponents territory you will be allowed to go for it ONLY on 4th Down and 1. PLease do not abuse this. If your in FG range, parring the situation you may want to take the Kick.
- You will be alowed to use (1) Fake Punt / (1) Fake FG Trickery PLay during the Course of Any Game.
4th Quarter 4th Down Rules:
- If you are losing you are welcome to go for it on any 4th down. Only exception will be in a 3 point gm (when your losing and in FG range), Proper ettiquette would be to kick a FG in this situation
Aside from this the only other thing to keep in mind is if it is the 4th Quarter you are welcome to as many onside kicks you like as long as you are losing the gm.
MIXING PLAYS: Keep it as real as you can in mixing up plays as the real teams do. It’s understandable that a team with RB problems is going to pass more than run and a team with poor WRs is going to run more, but not 90% of the time. QBs cannot run 90% of the time either.
You can never have more than 15 running att. with your Qb.
40 Carries with your running backs or 45 passing attemps with your Qb.
Be sensible and call your offensive and defensive plays in a sportsmanship sim-style manner.
In overtime, teams can go on 4th down at any time in any situation.
GAME GLITCHES/FLAWS: In the NFLS LEAGUE, it is not acceptable for any player to knowingly use a PUBLICIZED/NON-PUBLICIZED game glitz/flaw, whether discussed in THE NFLS forum or not. You will face possible league expulsion. It is your responsibility as a player to be aware of those particular aspects of the game. Should a player become aware of a “game glitch,” it is the responsibility of that player to bring it to the attention of Commissioners

** One quit game is removal from the league
** If an owner pulls the plug one time in the season, they’ll be removed.
** If an owner obviously has connection problems and can’t be fixed, you’ll be asked to give your team up or get a new modem . Games aren’t fun when they need to be restarted 8 times to finish.
BECOMING A VETERAN
PLAYOFFS + SUPERBOWL
1.SEASON 1 NFLS Playoffs and Super Bowl:WILL START 5 WEEKS AFTER OPENIGN OF WEEK 1
NFLS SEASON 2 WILL BEGIN 2 WEEKS AFTER SEASON 1 PLAYOFFS ARE OVER
No Huddle:
- Is acceptable in the final couple of minutes of the first half.
- Can be used any time when you are trailing considerably.
- Is never allowed after an incompletion.
Note: The No Huddle rules do not have exact time or point limitations, so please use good judgment.
Running with the QB:
Is entirely up to you. When there is a guy like Michael Vick in the NFL, it would be silly not to let you use him to the full extent of his abilities. But I don’t want people to call passing plays with no intention of passing the ball. I also don’t want to see anyone dropping back 15-20 yards or sprinting to the sideline with the QB and then lobbing it up. Rolling out of the pocket is however allowed. Just be smart about QB running and you will be fine.
Goalline:
Is allowed only in your opponents redzone, in short yardage situations anywhere on the field, or when you are backed up inside your own 10.
Two Points Conversions:
You may go for two any time you want in the game, even if you don’t necessarily need it. But, you cannot go for it if you are just trying to run up the score at the end of a game.
TRADES:
There is a 3 trade limit
Sportsmanship:
Display good sportsmanship during games. Running up the score and excessively celebrating when you have a large lead is not acceptable and shows a lack of class. It might happen sometimes in the NFL, but it won’t happen in this league. This is not something that should be an issue here, but if it becomes one it will be addressed.
Complaints about opponent's play:
If you have a complaint about your opponent's game, make sure you are certain of the rules, pause the game once and tell your opponent clearly what the problem is. Be courteous and kind regardless of how badly you are losing. If the problem continues, send a PM with a clear and detailed description of the problem to one of the commissioners.Under no circumstances should you quit a game. If you quit a game, you will be subject to, and almost guaranteed of, removal from the league.
Whining in general:
NO PUBLIC WHINING!!. If you have a problem with any aspect of your opponent's game, address it to one of the commissioners. They will handle it.
